About
The Resonance Project started out as the first serious classical music series in Seattle's Eastside associated with a dedicated performance space, Resonance at Soma Towers. Our mission was to make classical music accessible for first-time listeners by engaging with the audience in ways that extend beyond normal concert settings. Now based in Cleveland, the Resonance Project seeks to continue to dialogue with audiences about the beautiful music we feature.
Founded by the originators of the popular series "How to Fall in Love with Classical Music", we strongly believe that music is deep, and that the more ways we find to connect to it, the more beauty and meaning are revealed. At our events, you will hear professional musicians share insights into the symbolism, hidden structure, history, stories, and sensibility behind each piece of music we perform, complemented by carefully curated visuals and interactive elements.
Music, especially classical music, can seem complex, or disconnected from audiences by time and culture. But we believe that these separations can be bridged by sympathetic musicians and audiences, and that such connections are sorely needed in today's world.
Mission Statement
The Resonance Project helps audiences connect meaningfully with classical music through events that highlight the expressive, cultural, and human aspects of music.

Brahms, Schubert, Ravel, and De Falla were all brilliant masters of song. Mezzo-soprano Kameryn Lueng and pianist Irwin Shung have programmed a compelling emotional journey through love pure and love decayed, featuring the works of these composers and others.
Longtime collaborators Guillermo Salas-Suarez and Qin Ying Tan reunite for a vibrant program of Spanish music. The duo will perform a spicy Fandango by Felix Lopez, Jose Herrando's El Jardín de Aranjuez, which evokes the gardens of Madrid with its bird calls and vivid musical imagery, and Dominico Scarlatti's rarely heard but brilliant violin sonatas.
